Sexual Orientation: She’s not quite sure- She’s a virgin (despite her reputation at Hogwarts) and she thinks both men and women are attractive. She’s awfully confused, the poor pet.

Physical appearance

Lavender is very pretty although she’d never think herself beautiful. She’s got long blonde hair and blue eyes and is often described as cute. She’s not very tall but she’s quite skinny from running around everywhere. She tends to dress rather ‘boho’, preferring Muggle clothes for her job as a barmaid at The Leaky because she’d hate to ruin some of her nicer clothes.

What have they been doing since graduation/during the war?

Lavender was rather put out that Parvati had to go back to her family and decided to travel a bit. She travelled all the way to France before receiving news that her mother had been murdered. She quickly returned to find out that her mum had been murdered for being a Muggle and for giving birth to half bloods- Tainting the line of the Brown family. Lavender decided from then on to fight for the Order and take a job in The Leaky, hearing lots of gossip and becoming very useful to the Order by feeding them all she heard. She was terrified when Padma was killed and Parvati went missing, fearing the worst for her friend and the stress has shown, with Lav becoming more scatty than usual.

What is their current living situation?

Lav’s living in a flat next door to the Leaky on Diagon Alley. It’s very pink and pretty and she loves it very much. She misses Parvati like crazy and has her spare room decked up in Parvati’s favourite colours just in case she ever comes back.

Descriptive personality

Lav is very happy-go-lucky but she’s not been the same since Parvati went missing and her mother died. She feels very bitter about the whole things and wishes in a way that she’d been struck down at the same time. She tries not to let it show though and although she’s listless when alone, she tries (and often fails) to act happy around her friends. She can often be found nursing a drink in The Leaky and drinking to forget although she’d never cry in public – Her mascara could run!

Allegiance and reason why. Did anything happen to influence it?

Her mother’s death, Padma’s death and Parvati’s disappearance were reason enough to send Lavender hurtling into the arms of the Order. Although she’s probably not very useful in terms of actual fighting, she’s good at getting information and spreading false rumours to confuse the other side.
